
2008 SCHEDULE ANNOUNCED!
The NWFA has released the schedule for the 2008 season.

The Connecticut Crush will face new opponents in 2008 in according to the 2008 Schedule released by the (NWFA)National Women’s Football Association. On April 19, 2008, the 10-week regular season begins and includes eight games. Changes to the two conferences were announced after the NWFA grew to 35 teams from more than 20 different states across the country. The new league structure includes five, four or three team divisions per conference.
The Crush will compete in the North East Division of the Northern Conference against rival Maine Freeze and the New York Nemesis, who are in their first season with the NWFA. Also, the Crush will compete against the Philadelphia Phoenix and Baltimore Burn memebers of the Eastern Division of the Northern Conference.
The Connecticut Crush will face each of the four teams twice during the regular season with one home game and one away game. Game times and location will be announced as it becomes available. Playoffs for the Championship will commence based on on regular season standings in July 2008. All home games are played at Sage Park on the Berlin Turnpike Berlin, CT.
Last Season the Crush finished the 2007 regular season 6-2 and losing in the first round of playoffs with an overall record of 6-3. "Crush can't wait for 2008!"
